Accurateship - Enhanced Shipping Manager for Yahoo! Stores

FedEx API update

Mar 1, 2009

accuRATEship has recently been upgraded to use FedEx Web Services as FedEx begins to migrate developers off of their older API system. These changes will be transparent to your customers but are required by FedEx.

accuRATEship will support both the API system and FedEx Web Services until April 1st, 2009. After April 1st, Shipping Manager will migrate exclusively to the new FedEx Web Services. Please be sure to fill out the registration prior to April 1st 2009 to prevent service interruption.

Adding Handling Charges to Free Shipping Items

Feb 5, 2009

Have you ever wanted to give free shipping on your products, but still charge the handling fees? Now you can. With just two simple switches you can easily switch between completely free shipping, and charging simply the method level markup and/or the item level markup.

Update accuRATEship by catalog.xml instead of a page using an RTML template.

Nov 13, 2008

For wholesale companies that have their website password protected, or for stores that just don’t want to have the RTML page on your store - We’ve introduced using catalog.xml instead.

There’s a simple switch in the settings area that changes the import type.

**catalog.xml must be enabled in your Yahoo! store manager before shipping manager can update.

Use either UPS book rates or your account negotiated rates.

Oct 5, 2008

Now it’s your choice if you’d like to offer your customers your UPS account’s negotiated rates, or if you’d rather continue to charge book or world rates.

In either case, markups can still be applied to increase the rule for handling fees, or just to make a profit on shipping costs.
